My Adventure in Banal a Bundok
The Fourteen (14) Stations of the Cross on the foot of Mt. Arayat, going uphill, with an amazing overlooking view of Pampanga and nearby provinces, is a project spearheaded by SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF MAGALANG. This noble undertaking is now 85% in completion and this was made possible because of the immeasurable support and generosity of benevolent people whom God has called and chosen.
It is said to be a very peaceful and calm place to be because of the relevance of religious stations. The “Banal na Bundok” station of the cross portrays the suffering of Jesus Christ until he was crucified through creative and amazing statues.
Since the place is part of Mount Arayat, travelers must secure safety and must wear proper attire and equipment to avoid unexpected accidents. A place like “Banal na Bundok” is absolute for all the people who want to relax and to feel a peaceful environment.
We did not regret visiting this such very beautiful place, it’s all worth it. I promised to myself that I will visit again this place. It is not just about on the view, but of course it’s the experience, the wonderful experience of climbing in a mountain with prayers and faith in God.I can say that this trip was the most memorable trip and adventure of my life. Statues on every stations might not real but the messages that they want to convey are such very deep. It is the renewal of our faith to our Lord, the “Banal na Bundok” wants us to empower our trust to Jesus and to teach us about his life.
I enjoy hiking in Banal a Bunduk, because every station I go with and I see I am amazed. A lot of Patrons and Saint are indicate here it is good to take a picture at it.
